| - This company is fabulous! When my 2 year old Whirlpool fridge began leaking buckets of water from the interior ceiling, I had no idea to call. Boy did I get lucky with this one. The technician, Rick, was superb. He blew me away with the best Old Fashioned Customer Service Ever! Since mine was an unusual problem, he had to come back with a parts. In the meantime more symptoms surfaced. He was honest in telling me what he thought the problems were. Turned out, repairs could total over $1300. He offered to take out the replacement part he'd already put in, so that all I had to pay was the $79 initial service fee for his diagnosis even though he'd made three trips out at this point). He did this so that I could buy the extended warranty through Whirlpool to have the repairs covered. This potentially saved me $1000! He did this, even though it meant that potentially Whirlpool would send the repair to a competitor. I tried hard to get Whirlpool to send E&J Appliance for the now warrantied repair job, but they wouldn't do it for me. (Disappointed with Whirlpool!) Rick bent over backwards to try to make a very complicated job as efficient as possible. He was super kind, prompt, courteous, and clean. Office staff was also super nice. GREAT, HONEST COMPANY! A company that makes sure the customer is taken care, even if they don't profit from it, of is a gem in my book.
