  • I went to this metro last evening for a few items (about 6) it was fairly busy, mostly 20 & 30 somethings picking up small carts or full baskets... I was able to find some good deals on paper goods. The Produce looked like it was covered in Shellac, Weird. We decided against. Looked like lots of selection though. They have a Good Selection of Coffee (Beans & Grind) A Lot of Eco Care Products which we bought (TP & Tissues) Some Vegan stuff, I wish they had Nayonaise and a dedicated Natural and Organic section instead of it being split up, one aisle shopping is sweet and convenient for Healthy living people. A Couple of things that I think need an immediate improvement: * The Floor was Dirty, it had Produce Bags & some produce (tripping hazard) * There were no human registers open only "express yourself" but there were 3 cashiers, 2 of them that were horsing around at the self check booth, and another one directly behind the booth, eating and speaking loudly to the others with her mouth full. *The Mouth Full Cashier was also hollering at the people using "express yourself check out" about how their items were on the scale, but making no effort to explain that the scanner was a scale or to help at all (It then, about 3 minutes later happened to me) *The self check line up had 6 people waiting, and all of the self check in use...OPEN A CASH REGISTER!!!!! *There were 3 Cashiers having a work party, watching people struggle, but not helping out but instead getting irritated at the lack of self check skill. * I asked the cashier at the self check booth why it was not registering my item and she rudely said "because you didn't scan it" I then told her that the register said to wait for cashier assistance... to which she sighed loudly, put her food down, and wandered over and said right in my face (mouth partially full) "Your Pop is on the SCALE!!!" I have never used self check, how do I know the scanner is a scale... I am not a cashier. I didn't appreciate being spoken to like that, Harsh and unprofessional... Is this the Metro way, I hope not!! Anyway, I have called the store and vocalized a complaint. I didn't appreciate being yelled at in such close proximity and having remnants of Sandra's Spit/food on my face. The mean cashier was Sandra. Avoid Sandra. I am glad she was wearing a pin so I can warn people that her attitude is not Customer Centric whatsoever. I am guessing this is why she was in there so late in the evening, still no excuse. She is lucky to have a job still after treating people in that way. I want an apology. I also want to go back to Metro, but I won't go to this Metro ever again... This is maybe my first severely negative experience in a grocery store.
