DanaMarie is fantastic! This was my second visit and I'm totally looking forward to the next.
I found her through a Groupon for 2- 60 min or 1- 2hr massage. Normally I like to go for the longer massage but thought I'd break it up to see if I really liked the place.
Typically I don't expect a lot from a Groupon or LivingSocial simply based on lackluster experiences. This was not one of those.
What I really liked:
* DM is very considerate of the time. She wants to make the most of everyone's experience so she is careful to not run into the next appointment.
* She is intuitive and sensitive with what's going on with your body and takes the time to listen to your concerns, preferences, etc.
* Each visit I've left completely relaxed and in a near state of zen which is huge considering how messed up my neck and back are.
* awesome pressure without making you feel like you're going to cry from the pain.
*She makes you feel like family or an old friend.
Some other cool things:
* the massage table has a warmer if you'd like. I usually opt to not use this feature anywhere I go. To each their own.
* She leaves chocolates for after your massage. Although I'm not a chocolate fan, I fully appreciate the gesture
* water: she consistently brings a bottle of water and will always ask if you prefer it room temp or cold. I love that. Most people like cold water. I personally prefer room temp more often than not. So to have someone be that thoughtful adds to the experience.
*online booking through style seat is very convenient.
*You can use your Groupon for her other services & pay the difference, just email or call if you have questions. That flexibility is huge!
