| - Ok it's not bad...but when I find out they charge you to get in during nights and weekends...yikes.
Visited during a weekday in the daytime (so I didn't have to pay for admission) but the cobble stone streets were packed with people walking to and fro. It's very cutes-y, has some great photo ops, very Festive, and some unique storefronts to walk along.
Went inside a few shops, namely Bergo and a chocolate one I forget, and everything is pricey. It's nice to look for sure but I didn't buy anything.
Finally I stumbled across the Ferrero Golden Gallery. It had a line but I really wanted to try it. I tried to scan the storefront to see prices...huh that was strange...no cash registers, no menus...could it be free?
Indeed it was. After waiting just a short while, my friends and I were greeted and welcomed to the Golden Gallery and were asked what we wanted to drink; tea, cappuccino, or latte.
The employees then pour your drink and give you Ferrero chocolates based on that. Really liked this idea and it was executed well.
They have maple syrup, hot chocolate, fudge, potato tornados (that looked really good) wooden trinkets and other festive fronts across the market. It's definitely great for the photo ops - but probably just a one time visit every couple of years type of place for me!
Oh and FYI - the pink trees are where the toilets are haha.
