So I ended up realizing on the drive home that my headlights were dimmer than usual on the right side. Come to find out my right headlight was out. Oh great.
Autozone just so happens to be near my area thank god, didn't want to get pulled over. I've actually been here before a year ago with a car issue and remembered how helpful the last guy was. This time, different employee. I came in told him exactly what I needed and the make and model of my car. Everything was quick and easy. He got me what I needed at a very decent price ($10+tax).
Now, the question is whose going to install it for me?! Helloooo I am one of those girls who are clueless to fixing cars even if it's minor ones. Here's the unusual part, he offers to check it out for me and see what he can do. Perfect! Not. He glances in my front hood and immediately says that he wouldn't be able to do it because my battery and other things were in the way, he said he's not able to fit his hand thru. The solution? He told me I could wait for him to get off work. Ooook?? For what? I thought to myself. He mentioned he could try to fix it for me with maybe a lil charge. UHH..NO THANK YOU! How is someone going to tell me I can wait for him to get off work to help me. That was a red alert for me. OR my other option was to go to Tire Works and "maybe" they'd be able to help me. WTF.
Thankfully with the help of my dad, he was able to fix it for me! And did not even need to take everything off like that guy said. My dad detached some compartment thing near the battery and was able to access to the headlight. He even jokingly said, "damn, I didn't know I could do that." haha. Applause. Smart pops. Not so much for that employee tho!
