I must give a shout out to this lovely restaurant. I was in Phoenix visiting a friend in the hospital and eating on my own. The hotel food was dismal, didn't want fast food, and everything else was Mexican, burger, or chain.I was craving pasta. Drove a little away from the busy section and saw Tomaso's. I thought it was a mid-range pizza place but was tired of driving around an unfamiliar city in the dark. So I walk in wearing jeans and a T-shirt (after hanging around a hospital for many hours) looking the worse for the wear. A lone oldish woman. It turns out to be a white tablecloth place with a very nicely dressed staff. A waiter greeted me and led me without hesitation to a nice table. Treated me like a valued guest and service was excellent. I had great pasta with prawns and broccolini in a light tomato based broth. Excellent rustic bread, herb butter and a perfect Chianti. I'm so grateful to have found such a respite after a long day. Thank you, Tomaso's. Highly recommend. Glad CPK had no parking!!!!
