| - Went in and test drove a used, certified 4x4 truck. Sales manager printed out the build sheet for the vehicle, and made a copy of the car fax for me. Manager also confirmed that certified pre-owned vehicles have the bumper to bumper warranty extended, as well as the powertrain warranty. Less than 36 hours later went back in with my wife to talk about a price to buy the vehicle. Looked at the truck again with my wife - the only used truck with a huge "Certified Pre-Owned" sticker on the windshield. Spent an hour and a half negotiating on the truck, with a ten minute debate with the same sales manager over the value of the spray-in bedliner in the truck. Also confirmed GM's 0% financing for three years on certified pre-owned vehicles. He gave me his best price to take with me as I went to look at other trucks at other dealerships. Spent all day shopping and turning down other offers based on the number he gave me. Called back the same afternoon said we would come in and purchase the truck if they could do a little better on price. Was told they would take another $200 off. When we drove back to sign the papers, the price suddenly went up by over $3000! The sales manager I have been dealing with was gone, and we were told the reason the price went up was because he gave us the price on the wrong truck. None of their other used trucks were certified, nor did any of them have bedliners. At best, complete incompetence, at worst, a bunch of lying crooked scumbags. Based on how much we talked about the specifics of the truck, it sure looks like the later. Tomorrow we will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Shop Freeway if you want to deal with a crew who will waste your time and try to RIP YOU OFF!
