| - I wasn't going to write a review as the staff seemed friendly enough, but then I realized I would be doing a disservice to others if I allowed them to waste their money using this company.
I was going to use groupon to utilize their service but I was advised by the person I spoke with that doing so would result in delays in my scheduling as they use two groups of employees based on type of payment. So, I said I would pay cash and they scheduled me immediately. On the day of the cleaning I texted them at 8am to verify their 3pm arrival. I was told yes, they would arrive at 3pm. At around 2:30 in the afternoon I received a cal from the cleaner stating he just got off work and will be running a little bit late. I said that was perfectly fine please arrive when he can. At 3:30 I got a call saying he was stuck in traffic but will still be arriving. At 6 pm I got a call telling me he was about 20 minutes out did I still want them to come. I said yes, I was perfectly fine with them staying the three hours after they arrived as I had already worked so hard on prepping my house for the cleaning. He never showed up. At 7pm I got a text from his supervisor saying that he called her and told her I agreed to postpone until Saturday, even though I had told him earlier that I had already made plans on Saturday and it would be an inconvenience for me. I should have cancelled then, but I said fine I will reschedule my activities and will be here on Saturday morning.
They arrived Saturday morning half an hour late. They worked quickly and shoddily. I should have read the fine print on their flyer as when I asked if they made beds, they said did our flyer say we do? I said yes, but then they stated only if the beds are off the ground, not if they are on the floor. As my teenage son had decided he did not want to utilize the box springs for his bed they said no they will not make it. But for some reason they decided not to make mine either, even though the clean sheets were right next to the bed for them to use. They didn't vacuum the small carpet in the bedroom closet, apparently they don't open closed doors? I have no idea what rules they applied to themselves to justify not cleaning certain things. They didn't clean the tubs in the bathroom, apparently that's not part of the service. They didn't dust the dresser as there was one basket on top of it that could have easily been moved and replaced. And lord help you if you had appliances on the counter as they will not clean counters with appliances on them as that would require them to have to move it to clean the counter. Even though their flyer states they shine the appliances and counter-top appliances that didn't get done. To my shame I tipped them for before checking their work, and only after they left did I realize they also never bothered to clean inside the microwave or sweep anything that might have been blocked. Meaning because there was a dining table in the way they didn't bother to sweep under the table.
Needless to say after paying them $150 for their work and then tipping $17 as that was all the cash I had on me, I then had to ask my teenage kids for help with cleaning the house after those people left. I spent another two hours after their "three hours of work" cleaning my house. Don't waste your money with this company. Pay the additional amount and hire from a real cleaning service like the Cleaning Authority, they are pricey but at least you know that your house will be cleaned.
