I have been a loyal customer for almost 10 years. They have recently expanded their hours and hired several new nail techs. I went in for a mani/pedi last week. I had one of the newer techs. She had done my nails once before and done a really good job. The problem came the next day when I checked my bank account balance. My bill was 38.00 and I gave a 10.00 tip on my card to total 48.00. My account was debited 86.00. I took my receipt and bank print out to the shop. The techs were surprised to see me back so soon. 3 of them were eager to help when I explained I was sure it had been an honest mistake. Marie, the nail tech who had taken care of me was there, but never made eye contact or came forward to explain. I came back later, when the owner Amy was there. She had my money ready but refused to give me back the 10.00 tip. She indicated that I should take it up with Marie. She is the owner and Marie her employee. If Marie had at either time come up and apologized, I would have willingly had her keep the tip and I wouldn't be writing this. It will be a long time before I go back. If you go be sure to pay cash and count your change carefully. I will be finding a shop that values their customers!
