The food here was delicious. My wife and I ordered two plates -- the 808 special with katsu and garlic chicken, plus an order of kalbi. Usually when we go to eat plate lunches we just share a single plate, but we were hungry and somehow we finished both plates. It was that good. My only gripe is that the plates were a bit on the expensive side. I'd say prices are double what we'd pay in Hawaii. But the quality was top-notch. Service was also good, and you can tell the people running the place are the real deal, having lived in Hawaii at some point in the past. I felt like I was eating at my auntie's place.
Definitely worth a visit!
