  • My co workers and I have a payday Friday tradition where we pick a new place to eat lunch that's considered cool/hip/trendy. Today's vote was for kitchen 56. We walked in and the smell of a wood burning oven was a nice welcomeing scent. It had a nice open floor plan and didn't make you feel cramped at all while eating in the dining room. I ordered one of the firebread sandwiches which was like a flatbread type sandwich. I got the Steak. When it came out it came with a salad and I asked for fries to which they promptly brought out a large plate of fries which the whole table then got to enjoy. the steak was a little tough to chew through and not quite the best cut to put on a sandwich but the flavor was great and the bread was super fresh and soft. all in all had a nice experience and will be back for sure
