rev:text	This Japanese curry place was recommended to us by our brother and fellow elite yelper. We are so glad we tried it. It was easy to find. It's a few minutes from the strip. When we walked in, it smelled like curry heaven. The host/waiter greeted us right away with a Japanese greeting and seated us. The restaurant was about half full. They had a booster highchair for our toddler. The menu isn't too complex which was nice. I ordered the vegetable curry with no mushrooms and my husband got the chicken katsu curry. We both got 3 for the spicy level. It was $0.20 per meal to add a level 3 spice. The spicier you add, the more it costs but the max spicy level was still under $1. The waiter mentioned that the 3 would probably be too spicy for our toddler, and I told him he'd probably just eat the rice anyway. I thought that was very considerate of him to mention that. The food came out in an expected amount of time. We both took one bite of our meals and were so pleased with how our curry tasted. It was pretty spicy at first but then not too bad. My mouth was burning though. I'd probably get a 2 next time. Good thing we had ice water nearby (which was a little slow to be refilled but that's ok - my husband said that's how it is in Japan haha). I tried my husband's meal and LOVED the crunchy, breaded outside and tender, moist inside of the chicken. I wish they would do a chicken and vegetable curry dish. That would be perfect. The meal portions were huge! We were very full afterwards and I couldn't finish mine. Overall, it was $25 including the tip. We hope to be back down this way soon so we can eat here again. Someone needs to open one of these in Utah county!
