The Andy Warhol is another of my favorite Pittsburgh museums (and there are many). It is a HUGE museum with so much to see. Worth the visit if you are a fan of modern art and pop art!
There are 8 floors in total and you are encouraged to start from the top and work your way down. There is an elevator to take up and they recommend to walk down each flight of stairs after this.
Each floor has a ton to offer, with so much of Andy's works on display. There is a lot of knowledge to be taken from this experience as well. Many of the exhibits and floors provide a timeline and background information on what you are viewing, when it was made, and the inspiration behind it. It is also a great place to learn about modern art in general. I had the opportunity to experience a tour while I was here and gained an extensive knowledge of Andy Warhol's history and beginnings. This is certainly not necessary as you will learn much of the same things just walking and reading as you go.
