  • My low review it's about the service I received today (06/16) and about our waiter Hayley, my food was great and I don't have any complaints about food value or flavor. I met my family for dinner at Genghis, I have a young niece that had pizza and a kids drink from some other place for dinner; sometimes we get her Mac & Cheese but today she wanted pizza. We ordered our plates and drinks and by the time the bowl came to the table I basically had to "guess" if my bowl was my bowl because the waiter said the cooks had lost the name tag/receipt/little piece of paper with my name (no biggie it was my plate anyhow) I just found it inconvenient, what if it wasn't? That was problem #1 Problem #2 (and most important) We ate, we ordered separate checks and when mine comes it had a "Kids drink on it" I found it odd, but I was sure If I told my waiter she could take care of it. When she came and took the cards to process payment I said "I believe you charged me for the kids drink but we brought that for her (my niece) from the pizza place" the she says "But you were putting soda on the cup RIGHT?!?(with a very accusatory tone) so I replied "Yes?!?! (very confused)" This because YES I did put soda on my niece's cup very small cup maybe HALF cup because she finished her soda and my boyfriend SHARED his soda with her on her cup. So this mean she either was spying on us or somehow knew that I shared half cup of soda with my niece which I find very interesting and lame to be honest, to be watching what your customers do or don't. Actually I was also sharing my bowl with my boyfriend, am I going to be double charged because we shared the bowl?? Hayley (and I'm assuming this was her name because it was on the receipt) then explained to me that since it's free refills it's charged by each person so that's why I was charged since I was putting soda on another cup. She asked if it was ok to which I replied "Yeah that's fine" and proceed to pay $1.50 for sharing my drink with a kid. I mean, she already assumed and made me feel like I was stealing soda by sharing 1/2 cup so what could I do other than pay, RIGHT?!??! Very disappointing experience since we are paying $40+ dlls to eat there I think $1.50 could've been spared, we even left a full refilled cup of soda that wasn't needed or consumed that I'm sure it went to waste. It's not that I was stealing the forks or any valuables, I mean you guys would've known since you were very attentive to what I was doing. Anyways, problem #3, the floor is very sticky.
