My wife is Chinese and we eat at Chinese restaurants very often. This is our first time trying a Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas, however, as we are just passing though. We had a great meal tonight at J & J's. We had a cumin lamb with cilantro dish that was the best I've ever had. The lamb was lean, the cumin was plentiful and there was just the right amount of hot. My wife must minimize her salt intake so the chef prepared a whitefish with tofu soup that was a delight for her. And we both appreciated the no salt version of their bitter melon with garlic. The melon was very fresh, not overcooked, and plentiful. We also had Szechuan cold noodles which we just inhaled. Very tasty. The restaurant is small and in a little strip mall. The interior is clean and well lit. The chef clearly knows his craft.
