Absolutely loved this place! The staff is extremely personable, and very knowledgeable/ in tune with the horses. I believe our guide's name was Sarah (sp?), and I would definitely want to ride with her again. She was incredibly patient with this one rider who couldn't grasp the concept that if you pull back on the reins it's telling the horse to stop... she tried to communicate this to her multiple times and miraculously was able to do so without sounding condescending or making the woman feel embarrassed. She kept that rider close so when necessary she could actually grab the horse and keep it on course so as not to hold up the rest of the group.
My friend and I got to the ranch a little early so spent some time feeling the horses out before choosing one. This ended up being great because our horses each fit our personalities very well, which made for a more enjoyable ride. If you're new to horseback riding (only my second time) I would go on either the 90 minute or 60 minute tour. Not being used to sitting on a horse for that long can be surprisingly strenuous on the knees. We did the 90 minute tour and absolutely loved it, some really amazing views. We were lucky that it had been raining in the area in the days prior to our visit so there wasn't any dust kicked up which allowed for some great pictures. If I'm back in the area I will definitely be doing another ride with them, and I think I might actually spring for the half-day this time!
