  • I've had my Mercedes for 7 years now and for the first 5 years I took it to the North Olmsted location for all of its service. Never again though. I bought new tires from a different dealership 3 months before my upcoming service appointment. When I took my car in for service they said I needed 4 new tires and new brake pads. I just told them not to do anything and decided to take my car to a different Mercedes dealership. I didn't tell them anything, I just asked them if my car needed any maintenance. They said it was in great shape and they didn't suggest anything. I said what about tires or brake pads, and they said tires looked brand new and I probably had about 15,000 miles left before I needed new brake pads. I also spent $500 to replace a faulty tire pressure monitor at the North Olmsted location prior to this experience. After 4 months, the tire pressure inactive signal came back on and they quoted me $1,250 to fix it and said it was a completely different issue than before. I took it to a different Mercedes location and it was fixed for $125 the same day. Looking back, there were several other experiences during the 5 years I took it there for service where I now realize I likely got ripped off. Mercedes are expensive enough, no one should get taken advantage of after purchasing one.
