  • Overall rating 3.5/5 Service 3/5: Dropped by DaanGo over the weekend. The place is really busy, to pay, put in an order, and get our baked goods took a while. We waited about 20 min and there were 3 people a head of us. If you come here on the weekend depending on the time you might be in for a bit of a wait. They have opened recently, and I think need a better process to take in orders, when it gets busier. I'm sure that will come with time, the longer they stay open. We also marked down our macaron orders on a piece of paper, but the order still wasn't correct. By the time we left the store it was too late to go back. Taste: 3.5/5 The design and artwork of the pastry is cute and cool. The macaroons are adorable and definitely a unique concept with the different Asian characters, but in terms of taste and quality I wouldn't say that they are the best macaroons I've ever tried. Since they are premium pricing I expected the quality to be better. While they are good they aren't the best macaroons I've tasted. They were a bit on the chewier side and not as fluffy or as light as I would have preferred. I liked the mango, passion fruit, and black sesame flavours the most as I think these flavours stood out the most. For macaron lovers, they would make a special treat and a nice gift. I actually really enjoyed the rainbow layered sponge cake. It not only looked cute, but it was delicious as well. The inside contained different coloured layers of sponge cake that were light and airy, with a bit of fresh fruit on the inside. I also liked that they used fresh cream, instead of butter cream and that it wasn't overly sweet. I would like to try out some of their other flavoured cakes. We also bought a citron tart. While this tasted good, and has a nice lemony flavour the cake outshone it. Décor: 3/5 The overall décor of the place is bright, simple, and modern, with white walls and you can see them baking and prepping behind the counter. I also like the logo and graphics of their business card and logo. However, since the front of the store is small it gets packed pretty fast. I think if you haven't given them a try, you should; as the concept the bakery is unique and different. It will be interesting to see the different desserts they come out with.
