  • My bf had a groupon type deal to use so we made the drive to get some grub about 2 wks ago. It looks like the place might have only been open a few weeks. I can see what they are trying to accomplish with the place. Make it a place people want to hang out weather you are a day drinker or more into the night scene. They have off track betting, which I didnt notice until I was walking out. They have an open area for live music ( some type of platform would help to clarify that and make it look less abandoned. The deal we purchased was good only for certain items, which was actually very smart on their part. As a business owner who has run deals like this in the past, people using them can be very annoying and ridiculous. Limiting the menu helps eliminate that. We ordered and ate there. Then we ordered our own choices to take home for later. The items that stuck out in my head...that mac n cheese! The beef brisket, great flavor. Collard greens were good too. Finding places who serve them is hard but finding a place that makes them decent is harder. We would go back more often if it were closer.
