| - Well, I hate to say it folks, but I am extremely disappointed. I read the reviews on Yelp and got mixed signals, so I thought I'd test my Vegas Luck and be one of the few that leave with their expectations met.
I don't work too far from the salon so I decided to pop in and make an appointment for the end of my day. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said she could do it, designs and all. I even asked 2 times if she was able to do it in matte.
It started off so well. The conversations were consistent, and the pedicure was relaxing given the long day at work I just had. My friend came in with me so it was just a great vibe altogether. My nail lady - for lack of better term - was making effort to converse and had such a sweet energy to her.
Come time for the manicure, the color that I had requested was different.... i was aiming for a matte deep burgundy with a black matte accenting ring finger. The matte polish ran out as she was in the middle of the second coat, but did not bother saying anything until I did! It looked way too clumpy and bubbly. Scratches were visible! I let her know.
She then started speaking in her language to a younger lady, who suggested to do it the old school way. Nail lady resumes but started rolling her eyes at the lady she was just speaking to. Not only did she struggle doing the matte, but she then tells me that she cant do the design i wanted! Mind you, i confirmed with her PRIOR to making the appointment!
Ridiculous. A whopping 94.00 for a pedicure and 2 gel manicures for a half-assed job. Then had the audacity to say "im not going to charge you for matte cuz its your birthday." You mean you're not going to charge me for matte cuz it ran out on me!!!!!
Dont bother wasting your time here. I was in there for 2 and a half hours, too.
