| - I've been to this location a few times now. I've been to Albertson's before. Same experience here. But what compels me to write this review was that the last couple of times I've checked out, it's been with the Store Manager. (I believe that's what his name tag said, I didn't remember his name but I know it was GM or SM.)
He was courteous at checkout. Very quick in scanning products, and offered to walk and grab a last minute item for me when I was already in line. I felt bad for holding up the line but he was quick and efficient so it didn't take much time at all. Always ends with a smile and an invitation to return. Something about the "come see us again" seems genuine. And it's appreciated.
I like that management does, what I would consider, line level jobs. So many companies have managers buried in an office somewhere, but I'm happy to see the store manager scanning items alongside employees. To me that shows that he can do the job he expects of others, but also leads by example. My checkout experience, although this just being a grocery store, is similar to how I would feel checking out of a hotel. Thorough, making sure everything was too my liking, and a thank you for my business. I wouldn't normally rate an Albertson's. I don't really go into a grocery store expecting exemplary service. But I'm happy to say this location has a neighborhood feel to it. Check it out and hopefully you get the same experience I do.
