  • I've only been there once, but I would go back. They have a fish sandwich special on Friday that is as good as any in town, and a lot better than some. Two nice pieces of North Atlantic cod, light batter. Excellent quality fish, generous portion for $7.50, add a buck for fries and slaw. The slaw was fresh and tasty. I subbed onion rings for fries, and they were OK, a little heavy on batter. Service was friendly, fast. I would have preferred a platter with fish, slaw and a veg or starch that was not fried, accounting for the less than perfect review. But this is a bar first that coincidentally serves good food.
