  • I discovered Vogue after buying a mani/pedi deal on Groupon. The salon is clean and the technicians seem nice, but I wasn't very satisfied with what I got, for a few reasons. (I understand that the salon is new but there were a couple epic fails that just shouldn't happen). #1: the pedicure chair I was in was "frozen" on one setting, which was a nagging circular motion in one spot on my back. When I mentioned the issue I was told to "just relax". Not cool, she should have move me to a chair that worked. #2: Attention to detail was missed. The pedicure on my big toes was uneven and lumpy, while the other toes were fine. Very strange #3: Two days after my gel manicure the polish began snagging on things at the corners, followed by it peeling. That should definitely not happen, especially with gel polish. Now, I will say that the owner was very apologetic about the gel polish and took it off for me and left me with a credit at her salon (I didn't have the heart to mention my pedi issue though). Based on the owner's attitude and the newness of the salon, I'll go back and give it another shot.
