  • The W mart of department stores. First time shopping here,I have my favorites, but last minute gift for a perfume and their hours on a Sunday fit my schedule. It is clean and well lit, but seems a bit understaffed. Once I found the the perfume area, it was left to me to hunt it down, there were signs for different promotions gift with purchase etc.But alas the signage was ambiguous, and because the store is not particularly open, and could not see any associates in line of sight. Found what I needed, then the hunt for check out was on. Check out slow inefficient, people in front of me were asking about gift with purchase,(so it was not just me). I would not expect the check out guy to know but some how they did, so naive to think he would know that. My other issue is their business plan seems to be based on coupons and something called Kohl's cash, (given out at purchase) to be used on your next visit. If you want me as a customer give an a low price today and everyday, no loyalty card, no funny money. I did get 10 dollars in Kohl's cash, I will only say that the cashier said it was good to use on the 10th but nope he was wrong, the next cashier pointed this out, when I tried to use it. So if shopping is is sport and you love wasting time shop at Kohl's.
