  • When I worked at Safeway in high school, they actually had standards. Employees were expected to not only be efficient, but friendly and helpful, too. That is certainly not the case at this location. Don't ever expect to be able to find someone in the bakery. If you want deli food, be prepared to wait 5-30 minutes just to get something behind their counter. The butcher guy has literally told me he can't help me with basic butcher items. The produce people are too busy to help. Checkout takes way too long, and by the time you get there and have dealt with the rest of the store, you are ready to throw everything down and say, "Screw it, I don't need to eat this bad."
