YUL isn't necessarily known for their lounges and it's pretty evident when it comes to those not part of the Star Alliance team with Air Canada.
The National Bank World MasterCard lounge is open to essentially everyone else as well as Priority Pass holders, which is a definite plus! The lounge itself is pretty basic in amenities. You have some light bites with croissants (we are in French Canadia), salami, turkey, and other crispy nibbles. Drinks include a selection of wine, beer, and some hard liquor you can mix with- however they ran out of Coke when I came this time around. How does that happen?
Given the availability of the lounge to a wide range of customers, it can get pretty crowded inside. It felt like there was always somebody moving around grabbing something while inside, so you may find it hard to get much work done if that's your objective.
While basic in offerings, it's still an escape from the crazy hustle and bustle that exists in the regular terminal. Drop by and have a bite before your flight if you have access!
