| - Originally, I was not going to write a review since my mother and my family had such a bad experience there. However, when I looked and saw that the high star reviews were more than one year old I deemed it necessary. In all fairness, there was a new Director there and the employees often seemed confused about old/new policies, procedures, etc. She has severe health issues and would often wait two hours to get a cup of water, the covered food tray was pushed into her room with no comment or explanation. Considering that my mother has vision problems, she did not know the tray was in the room, what was being served or what would be served for the next meal. The staff was aware of her vision issues and she ended up losing a significant amount of wait for a short stay there. Some of the staff is quite helpful and nice, especially the Physical Therapy group. However, the majority seemed either apathetic, disgruntled, rude, and irritated by questions or requests. The hall ways smelled so badly of urine that I saw one unknown family member have to cover her nose with her shirt to get her father from his room - this was not unusual. Medication was changed, discontinued, or just handed to her. She/I was unaware of what she was taking most of the time and the nurses were not helpful about informing us. No phones in the room, required to bring a personal cell phone. The list goes on and on. I would recommend not this place to anyone. Please tour it and talk to the patients before you
