  • I wanted to start mountain biking again, I haven't ridden for 15 years. I went to Exhale after my dad who's a long time rider told me they had a rental program where the rental cost goes towards the bike you purchase. I talked to Nathan and he got me up to date on modern mountain bike tech. He suggested I try the Specialized Fuse. I rented one Fuse for me and a second for my girlfriend for $150 for the weekend. We had a blast, the new bikes are sooooo much better than the stuff from 15 years ago. It was so much fun I bought a new fuse for me and a new Ruze (same thing but female version with more standover height). He subtracted the $150 from the cost and we were proud owners of bikes we knew we would love. This is better than the parking lot test ride you usually get. He told me the rental policy is unlimited so if you can't afford a nice bike up front just rent and when you have stacked up enough credit pick out a showroom new bike and it's yours. He did a few ergonomic adjustments and we were on our way. I wanted a particular bike rack so he ordered me one and lent me his off his own car till my came in! The bikes come with free tune ups for life. During the second ride my girlfriends bike was shifting weird so after the ride I took it in and they made all adjustments (free tuneup for life with purchase of bike). They even noticed that the dirt on the front shock indicated she was not using enough travel so they adjusted the air pressure to her weight. I'm very happy and don't have to worry about fixing bikes or messing with stuff my bike is always ready and if it's not I don't have to be nicked and dimed for an adjustment. I just want to ride the thing, don't want to learn a new trade. Thanks Exhale and thanks Nathan for giving a great experience and a good well-backed product.
