  • It's amazing to me that I can send a signal out from where I live and BAM! within three minutes an Uber driver picked my friend and I up and whisked us away to The Comerica Theater to see Don Henley last night. So happy I could have several drinks and not worry about driving home. From what I understand, due to the competition with Lyft the rates are down below $1.00 a mile. Not good for the Uber drivers, good for the consumer. I would be happy to pay more than what the rates are now because I feel they should be paid fairly. This mode of transportation has made a difference in my life and I know millions of others. Thank you Uber drivers for saving lives!! Both drivers were friendly, one from Nairobi and the other from New York. I love the feeling of having a community with using Uber!
