Let's begin with that I had never gotten a massage before. This was my first experience and it may sound silly but I was a little nervous. I hate the unexpected.
My friend for christmas last year had given me a gift certificate for $100 massage and I had completely forgotten about it. Going through my stuff a few weeks ago I decided to check the place out.
Calling they told me their one hour massages are 60 bucks and if its your first time it's only 50. Very affordable I thought. Considering I had $100 bucks I thought I would share the experience and take my boy friend. (Really, I just didnt want to go alone, so I thought I would take him since he has had massages before). I ended up booking a couples massage and it was quick and painless. The lady asked if I wanted light, medium or pressure points. I decided to go for medium. Next she asked me for my credit card in case I was a no show then they have a cancellation fee. I asked if we could have two women and they said they only had one male and female. The other female was booked. Oh well.
Loved that they are very flexible with their hours. I think it was 10am-10pm. I know for sure they close at 10pm because I know I was surprised it was so late for a sunday.
Walking in they were very friendly, got us water and we filled out forms so they could know about our past injuries, body and likes/disliked. I never once felt them try and urge me to buy any packages as I saw on other reviews. They quickly got us our masseuses. My boyfriend kept joking that my male masseuse better be ugly otherwise he was going to be watching the entire time, hardy har har.
Entering the room it was dimmed and romantic looking. A little too old in the room for my liking due to the fact we soon would be naked and two fans seems a little much. They left the room and we were to take everything off but underwear. We then got under the covers and they entered the room. Masseuses asked us if we had problem areas or if we wanted just the normal full body massage. I mentioned that earlier in the year I dislocated my shoulder so if he could spend a little time there and then do the rest normal.
The massage was great.. my favorite being my shoulders and back. The arm and legs were relaxing. I almost fell asleep. The only part I hated was the neck/head massage. It was a little painful but after the massage it felt more relaxed. So it might just be that was a problem area for me and I wasn't aware. My skin was smooth and silky soft.
I will reccommend this place to my friends and family.
