  • The grocery stores carry an assortment of local and unique brands. Stores, because there is a large one with just about everything (including fresh butter and cider!) and a smaller one dedicated to organic, vegan, gluten-free, special diets and so on. We got some fake meats that you don't usually see (tempah bacon and a really good fake sausage) and goat fudge. They have a "gift barn" with some very nice items, an apple press, a tea room for parties, a little farm "museum," a petting "zoo," amoung other various and seasonal things (pumpkin festival!). The Arrowhead Wine shop inside the larger grocery is fantastic because they let you sample before you buy. That's right Pennsylvanians, somewhere that's not a state store selling wine that you can take home with you. No ordering a case, buy a bottle and take it home. Oh, and it's good wine too.
