| - So many bad things to say about this place. We moved here from San Diego so weren't able to have a tour before signing the documents. Our 1st apt was horrible. We had asked for the renovated yet they gave us an old model. We had ROACHES, BLACK MOLD IN OUR TOILET, neighbors stomping upstairs, ac leaking all day, SUPER SLOW WIFI WIRING. When we went to the office for the mold problem, they insisted it wasn't mold. I'll upload pictures.
We began to look for a new complex to move into but they convinced my boyfriend they would fix as many problems as they could. We were able to move into a renovated model by renewing the lease 2 months into our lease. The new model is a lot nicer but let me just say WE'RE ALREADY TRYING TO BREAK OUR LEASE EARLY BECAUSE OF SO MANY COMPLAINTS. I'll list pro and cons:
PROS: new appliances, new cabinets, granite tops, maintenance reply time is quick and friendly, 4 pools (one is currently closed due to MORE construction )
CONS: -maintenance does not fix all problems. They just show up and don't really know what they're doing (sent in 3 requests to fix water temperature and it's still not fixed)
-We weren't able to use our balcony or washer/dryer for 3 weeks due to construction on balcony. Construction started at 7am Monday-Saturday and ended at about 5pm (I was working from home so was home all day). Management did not take anything off of the rent, instead assured us $20 of laundry credit on a gift card was enough for the 3 weeks.
-I have emailed the office email address TWICE and have not received a response. It's the email they advertise yet no reply.
-Parking is horrible. I just bought a new car and I have about 10 new dents from the parking here.
-Currently having MORE CONSTRUCTION done on the new office building. They closed even more guest parking.
-Every time it rains, there is a HUGE LAKE IN THE GUEST PARKING THAT STAYS THERE FOR WEEKS! My boyfriend and I call it Lake Motif. It sounds funny but it's true.
-All the doors and windows are not insulated correctly which makes the place super cold in the winter. Our front door is so uneven, you can see where the wind comes in.
-Charge residents for everything! Receiving packages, "pest control", water bill is divided between the residents.
-Horrible app to pay rent. Sometimes it says our rent is $950 and now it says $850.
-The wifi NEVER works! We have cox and have the deluxe package. So many techs have come out and told us it's the apartment wiring, not the service. So the wifi does not work and we NEVER GET SERVICE IN OUR APT so we can't use cell data either.
This location is so interested in renovating the property. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the property. There is literally cops and choppers here every other day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS! Do not rent here you will regret. We're literally counting the days until our lease is up or we have the money to break the lease early.
