  • Had to leave due to their not understanding my severe lactose intolerance (due to a new medication). Too bad since the food and service has always been great in the past. Working around language barriers is part of the culture/fun of dinning out in Toronto. When the Fune staff said they could not understand due to "poor english" I was a bit shocked and lost faith in the restaurant, I can't be the first person to ask this question. We ended up at another restaurant where our waiter did not speak english that well and we had a very enjoyable and lactose free dinner.
