This is my group's first time here and this review is strictly for their sushi side of the restaurant. First of all the parking here is horrendous especially for the weekend. There's barely enough space in the back to turn your car around when their tiny space fills up. The wait was around 35 mins which was not a big deal but they didn't even ask my group if we wanted to eat sushi or do bbq. After inquiring about JUST the sushi menu we were moved to the sushi side of the restaurant. In the beginning the service was ok but slowly deteriorated as the night went on, which is baffling seeing as we were the only table on that side. No one checked on us and orders were missing. It was obvious that they paid more attention to their bbq customers. The first halibut nigiri order came out warm and some pieces shriveled. Most of their nigiri were on the small side and the temperature was always a little warm and lacked flavor.
We did love their oysters and the korean ice cream sandwich. They also do half orders on most of their rolls which was great. Overall this place just doesn't cut it with their sushi offering. There are many other places that do such an amazing job overall in comparison. Maybe they ought to stick to korean bbq.
