This place is awesome. We got there right when it opened at 10am. We had already signed waivers online after we bought our tickets so the process to get in was quick and easy. Make sure you sign the waiver online if you want to save time. The line formed quickly behind us and many of those people were filling out waivers. The lions were beautiful and it was nice to see them up close since at the zoo they are much further away. The wild birds were neat and Ozzie the giraffe was the highlight for me. I paid $10 cash to feed him (better to just pay once you are there in cash rather then in advance online as that is double the price). It wasn't that crowded so the handler let everyone feed him 3-4 pieces of lettuce which was perfect for photo opps. The handler also gave the tip to rub him under his chin as he grabbed the lettuce. He was sooo much softer then I imagined giraffes were. Lastly, they have a mesh netting up over the majority of the habitat which is wonderful as it provided shade pretty much everywhere. The gift shop is also reasonably priced and watching Ozzie paint was cool too. We spent a little over an hour there and it was well worth it!!
