The sales representative at Las Vegas airport essentially told me false information to hard sell insurance. She told me that Nevada does not accept credit card's damage waiver coverage - unlike other states - and therefore unless I buy their Damage Waiver I'm not covered. I thought this was weird and asked her to confirm - she rudely said, yes you can see it right there on the info sheet (on that sheet it says "Your credit card insurance MAY not cover..."). She has told customers before and after me that Nevada was exceptional in requiring special insurance.
I called the credit card company and confirmed what she said wasn't true. I then asked to talk to her supervisor, and she just asked me to wait without calling him. I waited for 15 minutes and made a fuss, and finally her colleagues called the supervisor who came in 5 minutes.
