Thought that I had found a repair shop that I could trust. They did a great job on some tires for my Dodge truck...at least we haven't had any trouble for two months. So, I called and spoke with Todd about a new tire for my '92 camaro and he said " out the door, $82" Sent my son down and he came back after being charged $91. Not a big deal to most, I called Todd and he said it was because we requested to rotate the old tire to the other side of the car...which I thought was something any tire place would do w/o charge. Todd said because my tires are directional it required $9 more work. He argued and argued, rather than just an apology for the misunderstanding- he had to be right (not the customer). Was a horrible experience.
My son also shared with me they tried to get him to pay for a warranty, which we have never done on our tires- Arizona they don't last long anyways. I was happy he didn't go with the warranty, but then he shared with me that while he was there, a customer was arguing with someone behind the desk about a tire she had purchased and they refused to help her w/o her paying...my guess it was probably Todd.
Bottom line, will still be looking for a good, honest and helpful repair shop. Heard there is one at Guadalupe and Alma School.
