This is a brand new show at the Tropicana. The theatre is quite small with plush seats similar to what you would find in a movie theatre so they were comfortable. The stage is small as well, very intimate.
The cast was fantastic and I enjoy that the show wasn't solely focused on David Goldrake and his magic. The two woman dancers were contortionists and their performances were amazing! The costumes were sexy and appropriate for the circus theme he was going for. The men who performed were also good and their costumes styled well.
David Goldrake was very audience focused and his tricks were typical for a magic show. Some left me wondering "oh wow how did he do that?" and some were obvious. Since it was a new show, it felt quite a bit scripted and felt a little rehearsed instead of natural. The performers' steps felt too precise. But that can be fixed with practice and time performing in front of an audience each night.
Overall this is a good starter show if you've never seen a magic show on the strip before.
