  • I had such high hopes when moving in here and have been unpleasantly surprised. I have lived here for only 2 weeks and have a lot to say. They claim to be luxury resort apartments, but if you are moving into a previously vacated apartment I can assure you this is not the case. When we moved in there was over-paint all over the cabinets from when they did the touch up, there was paint on the patio glass door and brown paint on the door handle for the patio. There is calcium build up so bad on the sinks that it looks like barnacle's on our faucet. We had a large amount of rust and black dirt in the master bathroom shower and rust inside the washer and bathroom sinks. Obviously there is an issue with the water hardness here, which is not something we would complain about as long as it is maintained properly or handled accordingly. A lot of the door locks do not work unless you play with them for 15 seconds (front door is fine issues only with room sin apartment). Several electrical sockets do not work or are damaged enough to where every plug placed into one sags and eventually falls out. The Monday before we moved in we had a walk through and brought all of this to the attention of Tiana who works in the front office and she assured us this would be taken care of. We came back in to move in the following Friday and nothing was touched. The move in process was a nightmare as well, we are very punctual people and we started planning a move here 2 months prior to move in date (was probably a bit annoying for the complex), during that timeframe the manager Monica had messed up on the apartment number we were looking to move in to, wrote down the wrong move in date, and put in the wrong amount on several occasions. This lead to us having to re sign the lease 7 times over the course of that two months including on the day of move in. I figured giving them a two week period to resolve these issues while we have lived here would be enough to prevent me from having to write this review and was hoping this could be resolved. We understand there are a lot of people to look after in an apartment complex and there are few people working that front desk. Although I feel a bit guilty about writing this review I only feel it is something that must be done and that future tenants have a right to know about my experiences. So far the rusted washer still sits in our laundry room and we have had to find alternate methods for washing clothes even though it is something we are paying for. Since then we have called and had several conversations with Tiana, who has reminded us on several occasion's that this is what we should expect from a used apartment even though the slogan on the front sign says luxury resort apartments. Monica the manager has since backed her up on those claims as well. They told us that they can only replace the washer with a washer that a previous tenant has had and they cannot promise there is no rust in that washer either (I am not expecting a brand new washer, just one that will not get my clothes stained). I have never been at an apartment complex this careless about their tenants interests. I am not sure that this is just us specifically and that they are just annoyed with our persistence or if this is something that everyone experiences (I sure hope not). Needless to say I feel pretty bad about the decision to move in. I am more than happy to change my opinion if my experience changes, but based on how the manager has been thus far I am assuming she will go a long way to denounce their actions instead of trying to fix the problems they refuse to admit are problems. I just want to have a good working relationship with the people that work the apartments, but at this point two weeks in I only get the feeling that management hates us for asking them to make things right and only sees us as an annoyance. Wish I had a better camera, but the photos are what we walked in to. One is a hole in the pantry which has been patched and the one with the q tips is marking all of the rust spots in the washer.
