I finally got to stay here a few days before Christmas. Surprisingly to me, there were quite a bit of people that were staying here. I pulled up to the curb and was able to get a claim ticket for my bags to be delivered to my room. The people there, including the valet were all very nice and professional. Even checking in, they have a person that will greet you and call you by your last name to escort you to a receptionist. So far, so good.
Once I got into the room, there were just some minor hiccups. Perhaps, the same hiccups that you've read here before when they first opened. The ice bucket handles were flimsy, they broke off immediately. Also the door handles to the bathroom just fell off. What is this for a 5-star resort??? We bumped into the lady that worked in the halls and asked for extra towels. Time passed by and guess what? No towels.
Besides that, everything was nice for our short stay. The rooms and the hotel itself seems almost smoke free. I LOVE that. The elevators were fast and you have all the convenience inside the casino. Also, you are connected to the Venetian via a short walk. Props to the person who designed it. I would totally stay here again. I pretty much did nothing when I came here and even brought my own DVDs to watch.
