rev:text	I wanted to like this place. I tried, I really did. The lady who took care of me was very nice. HOWEVER, her work was one of the worst (if not the worst) gel manicures I have ever gotten...and I get a lot of gel manicures! I have my go-to nail spots in the area, but I decided to try Elite because it was on the way home, I was in a hurry, and it had decent reviews. I got a little waxing done, and she did a good job there! I knew things were about to take a turn for the worse when the lady started literally scratching off the previous gel I had on my hands...with her nails!!! It felt like she was ripping off layers of my nails! I've never had anyone do that before. For the gel polish, I picked out this pretty mint green color. She put on the first coat - it basically went on clear...CLEAR! I have never seen more watered down polish! She ended up putting on 3 coats of polish and although the color was there, you could definitely still see through my nail! She then topped it off with one top coat. Finally, I had 2 little jewels placed on my index fingers - bows to be exact. She put one of the bows on...crookedly. Really? Really. When I mentioned it, she said she would have to redo my entire nail...so since I was in a rush, I just let it go. I took a look at my nails and thought "meh, they're ok, I've had better." My biggest issue with the whole procedure was that 2 days later, my nails already started chipping. Umm...gel...chipping?? I've NEVER had them chip before a week and a half at the earliest! Here, one week later, every single one of my nails is chipped and I pretty much need to go get my nails done again. Moral of the story? Never, ever coming back here again. They need to STOP watering down their products and learn actual technician techniques. Giving 2 stars just because the lady was nice as mentioned previously and she had the football game on.
