I can't believe more people haven't written in about the awesomeness that is kickball. For the most part WAKA does it right. They take this ultimate childhood playground game taken to a whole new level (granted that happens when you gather a bunch of adults to a field and give them a red ball and a beer permit). I play in the AZ Fire League in Tempe. It's a good mix of competitive attitude (the league winner gets to go to Vegas!) and a whole heck of a lot of fun.
However, they are pricier than other kickball organizations I have played in around Phoenix for less games each season and their end-of-season parties that don't cover as much food, beer, etc. (which those pricey dues should be covering). This is probably because WAKA is a national organization that actually employs people, and we are basically paying for their salaries by playing kickball.
Their motto "Best Parties. Best Games. Best Friends." basically sums it up, but they could give you a little more bang for your buck.
