I am making a cross-country move so I was looking to secure an apartment remotely. In my initial apartment online search, Evolve didn't make it onto my list because of what I was looking for in terms of price range. Of the 3 apartment complexes that I was considering only 1 followed up with me and the other 2 places - despite my repeated attempts to get more information - did not follow up with me when they said they would. Unfortunately, the 1 place that did get back to me did not have the place I was looking for.
So I started all over with my apartment search because I don't care to do business with people who are unprofessional no matter how nice the place is. I am willing to pay more for a company that actually deserves it. Evolve caught my eye. Also, with the first month's rent being free, the rent over a 12-month lease ends up being around the same price as another complex that is slightly cheaper. The TV is also a nice touch since I do not have one. It all sounded good on the website, but I was not optimistic about calling them given the lack of customer service I had at the other apartment companies. Candy was the first person I spoke with. She was great. She answered all of my ridiculous questions, some of which I'm sure she had never had anyone ask her before. She was respectful and followed up with me when she said she would. I ended up going with Evolve not just because the place looks amazing, but because of my experience with Candy and the fact that she followed through when she said she would. I'm looking forward to moving in in a couple of weeks!
