  • Out of all the little stores which had the Chinese kwa, Phoebe's had the most elaborate ones and they weren't the marshmellow kind! They are fitted so it flatters the body. Plus it was honestly the cheapest price ($180) I found as I was quoted $200 - 300 at other stores & the designs were much plainer and def. not as fitted. Great customer service and always friendly. They also do custom designs. I took a look around and it's not the best material so you pay for what you get. BM dresses range from $130 + (alterations included). Longer dresses are $30 more. I did see a beautiful satin evening dress by the window w/ very nice material but did not enquire the price. Phoebe's also has wedding dress rental (for purchase as well), prom, evening gowns, etc. They also have special packages where you can rent a kwa, bridal gown & evening gown. I give a 4 star for the kwa rental but if I had to custom make smth here... the star might be lower. Tip: take a photo of the kwa you will be renting (when you pay for the full rental fee) so u know u'll be getting the correct one.
