I love small, independent restaurants and recently had the pleasure of visiting The Great Impasta with a gaggle of gal friends on a Saturday evening. The place was busy, filled with couples and families and groups of friends like ours. We received excellent suggestions from our waitress, and enjoyed yummy food (hand made fresh noodles!) wine, and terrific service.
When I'm in town, I rarely think to head over to Urbana for dinner, but the Great Impasta was so memorable I won't be so forgetful in the future.
For real, non-chain Italian food at a reasonable price, the Great Impasta is a C-U original.
