| - This place is truly a Vegas gem! It's beautiful and classy in a "1950's movie star steak house" kind of way, with great artwork and fun movie reel ceilings. It's a small steak house tucked away in the motel-like Royal Resort. There are 10 tables in the restaurant area, and the menu screams classic steak house. Service is wonderful and attentive, as one would expect from a high-end steak restaurant. They also have specials like the "Dean Martin" (which included filet mignon and lobster tail) which just reinforces their Oldies throwback :)
Onto the food. I hate to say, but I've definitely had better steak. The filet mignon I ordered was a little chewy, although it was cooked appropriately to medium, and it was not juicy :( They do have lobster mac n cheese, which was rich and creamy and delicious, and they had a very common caesar salad. Their shrimp cocktail was quite impressive in size (3 very large shrimps) but overall, for the $$, I was unimpressed with the food quality.
Next time I'd just come here for HH, enjoy the outside patio/ cool bar area and eat some apps. It's a great spot for a date night or if you want to impress your boss ;)
