  • I agree with all of the 1 star or less reviews. We bought the Living Social deal for basic duct cleaning. The guy was in my home for 5 minutes before he turned off his machine and told me I have "mildew and excessive build-up in my duct work." He said that I needed service requiring "sanitizing, anti-bacterial treatment" and something else I cannot recall. He said this additional, required service would cost me $600+. I said no thank you. He said that eventually I will have a lot of mold and dust mites and that the work he is doing today will not make a difference due to my situation. Plus, if he leaves and has to come back to do the service, it will cost more. He wanted me to make a decision at that moment. Again, I said no thank you. He said I should at least do the sanitizing for $200+. I said I simply cannot afford the additional service. If you can please just do the service we paid for, I will hang on to your contact info and possibly call you at a later date. He said he was finished, packed up and left. But not before he wanted to wash his hands, ask me for a bottle of water and try to up sell me one more time. He was here for less than 45 minutes.
