rev:text	I passed here months ago but was genuinely too stuffed full of junk on that day to buy anything. I remembered the delicious bakery smell though, so when the pursuit of a massage brought me to the area I made the effort not to gorge myself beforehand so that I could check this place out. It's a small enough little shop and I actually like the decor! I found it cosy and exactly how I'd like the little cake shop I open when I win Lotto Max to look. I was kind of hoping to get a mini cupcake but they didn't have any when I arrived in at 3.40pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I went for a puff pastry thing filled with creme patissiere instead and a cup of coffee. Definitely not the cheapest at $3.75-the pastry was pretty small-but both the coffee and pastry were good! It was a really fresh and light puff pastry with sweet and smooth cream. The smaller size was definitely enough. They had a larger version too but I suspect even my sweet tooth might have struggled with it. Everything in the cabinet looked pretty tempting and some staff were busily decorating a cake when I went in. They handed a birthday cake over while I was there and the recipients seemed very happy with it. Service was a touch on the unenthusiastic side from the guy behind the counter. Maybe I caught him at a bad moment. It also seems to be partly staffed by children/a child. At least on the 2 occasions I've ventured in! I picked up a wifi signal but it was secured and the code didn't jump out at me on any signage from where I was sitting. I didn't look very hard though and I wasn't staying long so didn't bother asking. Maybe next time! I hate having to ask though in case it's not for guests....as has happened to me in other places. But I will indeed try to make another trip!
