Just all around poor customer service. Left numerous emails requesting filter service for my reverse osmosis system via their website and never got a response. Called to schedule appointment and had a time frame between 12pm and 4pm and tech arrived close to 8pm.
Service tech did call to let me know they were running late. Called customer service to get an explanation for the extreme lateness and the way it was explained to me was that the jobs ahead of me ended up being bigger jobs than what the tech was expecting. At that point good customer service would be to let the current call know this job is too big to be completed today and that there were other customers they needed to get to so any further repairs beyond what was originally scheduled would have to be rescheduled.
It seemed pretty clear the jobs ahead of me became bigger jobs, thus more lucrative, thus my service call became less of a priority. They offered me no discount on my service call which would have been commendable as they made plenty of money on the customers ahead of me and could have kept me as a future customer had they offered some sort of discount.
And to make matters worse two days after the service call my reverse osmosis system quit working. I honesty don't believe the filter change had anything to do with it, just a coincidence as it had not been filling correctly before the tech came out, it worked fine for two days after the filter change and then the tank just quit filling. No pressure in the system.
They offer a 30 day warranty on their service and attempted to schedule a service call and was reminded on the phone that if the filter change didn't cause the issue I would be charged 98 bucks for them to diagnose the issue. I still rolled the dice thinking maybe I'd get the benefit of the doubt and they would fix it for less so scheduled another service call. Once again they were hours late from the scheduled appointment time to the point I couldn't wait any longer and left only to arrive home later that evening with a note on my door saying they had been their and I wasn't home.
I can't wait around all day for a plumber and feel like a sucker for paying an extra 25 bucks to be a member and get discounted water filter and softener maintenance when I will never call these guys again. I really think the whole water softener/reverse osmosis thing is a scam and may just ditch the whole concept.
