  • I was, at first, hesitant b/c of the higher prices and the two negative reviews here. I telephoned and found out they do price match, so armed with local prices, I went down to see, after a very bad experience with another nursery in town (see my other reviews) Mark (look for the cowboy hat) was amazing. He not only told us how to fix our trees we got from another nursery, he referred us to someone who would look at photos and diagnose our old sick tree for free (sixty buck for that at said other nursery), and explained every single aspect, both pro's and con's, of the trees we were looking at. He helped us find an alternate to an out of stock everywhere in Vegas tree that actually suited us better, and took the time to explain how to care for our dying trees we already have, plus our new tree and vines, three times over (I'm a slow learner). He was patient, very knowledgeable, and thorough, even in the over 100 degree heat. Oh--we also saved over $400 on prices from another place. Moon Valley has won a full time customer, and we are looking forward to purchasing more trees from them.
